Distinction between Social Organization and Disorganization

 

  It is clear from the above post that social organization and disorganization have the following conceptual differences

 

  (1) In the event of social organization, the individuals and institutions of the society continue to perform the tasks while holding their predetermined positions, while in the event of social disorganization, these individuals and institutions leave their posts and functions and work in a systematic manner.  She starts doing

 

 (2) In the situation of social organization, there is a consensus among the members of the society, while in social disorganization there is a complete lack of this unity and the mutual cooperation of the individuals or groups in accomplishing the collective objectives ceases.

 (3) In a state of social organization, the powers that establish equilibrium in social life function effectively, that is, the means of social control are successful in controlling the behavior of individuals properly.  But in the event of social disintegration, this control becomes loose and the powers that establish equilibrium lose their influence.  That is why social life becomes unbalanced in the event of social disintegration.

 (4) In the situation of social life organization, there is a functional cooperative relationship between different people and individuals of the society, between the individual and the group, and in the group and group, while in the case of social disorganization, this relationship becomes tense or conflicted or limits  It is reached that there is an obstacle in performing the accepted tasks of the group and accomplishing the collective objectives.

  (5) It is therefore clear that in the state of social organization it is possible to meet the maximum needs of the members of the society whereas in the event of social disorganization, the primary needs are met with extreme difficulty.

 (6) The state of social organization is a state of progress while social disintegration is a sign of decline.  Art, science, education, literature, morality, philosophy flourish in organized society whereas in a disintegrated society, there is a cut-off form of child crime, prostitution, suicide, unemployment, poverty, war, class struggle etc.
